Which states require valid routing info?

Routing Information is the part of the email message that most of us don’t ever see. The routing information is also referred to as the message headers. This information is simply a list of the places that this email has been to. Usually this information includes the origin of the email in the form of the domain name or IP address from which the message was originally sent.

Most spammers try to falsify this information to make it difficult to find them. While many of the states that have spam laws also require that this information be intact, some surprisingly do not.
