What is is a consumer news and information web site chronicling one Oklahoma ISP’s fight over illegal spam. We try to entertain our readers with real news about real spammers sending real spam. Big companies do it, little companies do it... everyone is doing it including some big names you would never suspect.

  • Mortgage Companies do it.
AmeriQuest Mortgage is being sued for spam right now.
  • Universities do it.
WebGuy has a lawsuit pending on University of Phoenix Online
  • Automobile Warranty companies do it.
WebGuy has a lawsuit pending on Continental Warranty
  • Even Pastors do it.
WebGuy has just recently settled a case with Pastor Gennarino. Thanks Pastor.

Legal Threats against is not a party to your spam disagreement with or any other ISP featured here. We are simply reporting news as it happens. If you are embarrassed by having your photograph, likeness, logos and products or services spotlighted on, then do this one, simple thing; Don’t spam. That’s it. Just don’t send out any spam and you will never be featured here at

Public Notice to Bulk Emailers

It is a well known danger among the bulk email community that if you send out bulk email of any kind that there is a good chance you will be spotlighted (and we MEAN spotlighted, right Bohannons?) on’s main page as well as featured in a private page, full of evidence. If you send UCE through WebGuy’s servers, you will be caught and exposed. If you don’t want to be embarrassed by being featured on, then don’t send out illegal spam. It’s as simple as that.

Spam, we all get it. All you need is an email address and eventually you’ll be offered everything from Viagra to University Diplomas. Cheap mortgage rates to even cheaper software. Offers to increase the size of various body parts, free Ipods, free Apple G5 Computers and FREE Notebook computers.

The definition of spam is a simple one. It’s email that you didn’t ask for. It’s cheap advertising for the sender because YOU, the recipient, pays the much greater burdon of receiving, viewing and storing the email. Space, connection time, bandwidth. Little by little the pennies start adding up.

In July 2004 SPAM overtook legitimate email as the majority of email sent via the internet. This means that there are now more spam messages delivered every day than there are legitimate email. Others estimate that spam now accounts for 75-85% of all email delivered. It all just depends on who you ask. We know we’ve seen our share.

The vast majority of the spam out there claims that you asked for it. Somewhere, somehow you must have signed up to recieve email offers on some web site somewhere. Seldomly is this actually the case. Most spam goes to email addresses that were harvested off of personal and corporate websites. Any web site that displays email addresses is vulnerable. The spammers know that email addresses harvested from web sites will more likely be working addresses to which they can peddle their wares.

We exist to help stop it. Not just to slow it down but to put an end to spam forever. We plan to report on every lawsuit brought about by and others from now until the end of spam (or time, whichever comes first.)
